WENDY WOLLNER, Founder, President, and CEO

Wendy has built and overseen a network of over 1,800 BLI trainers who bring work/life balance programs to corporations, not-for-profit organizations, employee assistance programs, and educational institutions. Wendy combines and imparts her honest and straightforward approach with her high energy and sense of humor to everyone at BLI.

In 2016, Wendy received The Business Council of Westchester’s Business Hall of Fame Award in the category of Women Business in Success. In 2015, SmartCEO honored BLI as one of the fastest-growing companies in New York, and Wendy was a nominee for the 2012 Enterprising Women of the Year Award. She has been featured in Entrepreneur’s Start-Up, HR Magazine, The New York Post, The Journal News, CBS News Radio 880 with Joe Connelly, Westchester Parent, the Chicago Tribune, ExecuNet’s Career Smart Advisor, More magazine, and SHRM Magazine. She is a past board member of The United Way and currently holds a board position for Volunteer NY.

Wendy received a master’s degree in industrial psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2014, Wendy completed an Executive MBA program through WBENC and Tuck Business School. In 2012, she graduated from Goldman Sachs’s 10,000 Small Business Program.

CARRIE GALLAGHER

VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXPERIENCE OFFICER, CXO

Drawing from her years in corporate training and marketing and her amazing ability to advance the business in all ways, we like to say that Carrie is the Swiss Army Knife of BLI. Carrie has a passion for her health and wellness. As a Senior Wellness Trainer, she has worked with globally recognized health and wellness organizations to deliver and implement full-day continuous improvement workshops, present hundreds of seminars and lunch-and-learns, and training programs that increase workplace capacities. At the core of her approach to balancing life is her work developing and applying tools and techniques to change negative behaviors.

Carrie also does a lot of work in the area of domestic ecological sustainability. She developed a curriculum that enables her to share knowledge about going green in the home, with guidance on eco-friendly products and methods. She incorporates into her training how you can do this as inexpensively as possible!

Carrie has a bachelor’s degree from Philadelphia University with a major in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. Carrie is a certified Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She is also certified by the American Management Association in Leadership and Steven Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
